#4 is my favorite. I like the abstract nature of the shot and the different textures. Like other commenters, I also get the sense that you wanted to convey the fuzziness of fleeting memories with the unfocused shots. I think it is an interesting concept that not many other people in this class (if any) tried to tackle. for me, looking at the set as a whole provides a strange and muddled dream-like experience.
I really like the use of color in a lot of your shots. They're all sort of a soft pastel. I think #10 feels a bit out of place among-st these, but I really like the mysteriousness of that shot. That one is my favorite, I think.
#12 is my favorite for the week. I love the use of light and shadow. It gives the piece more depth and also a mysterious feel. I could definitely see this space as a memory of someplace.
You represent vintage and memory very well in this set. If I had to pick a favorite it would be number 11. I agree with Jessica in the comment above, it looks like it is from a movie. Hard dark shadows against a patterned wall looks great.
My favorite of yours was 11. Use of lighting in this was good that it was filling in everywhere like the others. It stuck out.

ReplyDeleteI like how a lot of these are fuzzy. It seems to capture how a memory seems in our head: soft and not very clear at times. My favorite is number 3.

ReplyDeleteNumber 11 is my favorite, it reminds me of a still from a movie. Your use of shadow gives it an eerie, and yet still alluring feel.
