7 has a lot of mystery. It reminds me of a scene from a movie or a TV show when a lonely wife is waiting at home for her husband. It makes me think some type of dramatic family event is about to happen. Great orange tones too!
I'm voting for number 2 as well. The framing of the fall foliage in the windows and the reflection off the floor makes me think of fall evenings when I was young and in school.
#9 for pic of the week. I like how the sunbeam in the center allows the figure to disappear somewhat.
