  1. This had a lot of feel of an old timey travel log. Photos, cameras driving, scenery a journal. It was really nice. I think my favorite is number 8. The Empty spae above the shoes qorks well.

  2. I think that the mood of these photos together work together to portray nostalgia. The night time photos work really nicely with the antique looking filters and the subject matter itself (i.e. photos, journal, old shoes) work together well to emphasize the theme of memory.

  3. Woah, lots of feelings evoked by this set. The journal, the bear in the trash, and the pile of shoes definitely scream "memory" to me. I also want to point out that the picture of the Divine Lorraine is great, it looks so imposing and malevolent, and also reminds me of Ghostbusters. That's appropriate considering I'm typing this comment on halloween. My favorite is # 4, the journal, because it is nicely lit and the page standing up on it's own gives it a sense of mystery. Not to mention the subject matter is very related to the idea of "memory"

  4. #6 is my favorite. The lighting and darkness give it a mysterious feel, and then the trash bear adds to the somber emotional feel. Everyone can realate and have memory of discarding toys.

  5. Hey Brittany! These are really good. You have a great sense of the theme for this critique, Vintage and Memory. Number 11 is great, it took me awhile to understand the perspective. I love the journal one, and I think it ties your whole photo set together as a travel log like someone else mentioned. I vote for that one!
