  1. Your photo of the Philly skyline is unreal. In fact the sky looks amazing in almost all of your photos, great editing work.

  2. The composition of your photos is remarkable. You don't shy away from using different angles and perspectives, which really makes the images unique. What I like most is that you don't focus on the "obvious" subject in your photos. The woman walking under the bridge is a second-thought to the viewer, as is the crowd outside, and the marina. In each of those pictures, the background takes precedence, and it seems to remind us that in the midst of all our daily activities, there's always something more going on under the surface.

  4. Very beautiful structural images. Your photos also show a lot of water, where the play on reflection really adds to your photographs. I especially love the docking photography. The angle at which it was shot makes it almost feel like a landscape image, rather than a portrait image.

  5. I think this series might be my favorite. You've got really sharp contrast in a lot of your photos which really helps make them interesting and I think you did a really great job at choosing your subject matter. Great angles, interesting figures, nice job. If I had to choose a favorite, I would pick number 1 for the strong contrast.

  6. Jake - I like the use of color in your photos, especially in the first photo two where you see a mixture of color and shade but in the last one you see the double view used from the reflection. Very cool
