These pictures are so great!! I'm having a difficult decision for my vote. But i think it's a tie for the grass, swing or puzzle. I'll say swing.. the shadow really works here. the framing is excellent, you cropped out the perfect amount of the actual swing and the shadow fills in the gap. the grass and dark shadow contrast each other, and the yellow balances it out the perfect amount. awesome work and awesome set of photos!
I agree that the puzzle pieces and the swing are my two favorites from your set of photographs. The angles of both pictures gives them a greater depth and creativity. Over all, night work.
My mind is battling between the puzzles and the swing for what I vote on (didn't see the above comments until I just wrote that either). I think you really captured your greens in the best way! Also like the dominant red in the Giraffe head pic.
11 is my favorite. I love the shape that the shadow of the swing produces. It allows the eye to travel through the piece in a different way, less about reading from left to right and more about allowing your gaze to follow the shape of the shadow. The use of color and the composition of all of your works is lovely, but I wish that there was more mystery to them.

ReplyDelete3 and 6 are my two favorites from this collection. The colors are so bright and I also like the textures in the two of them as well.
