I really enjoy the details of your photos. You were able to combine a study in texture with a study of placement and subject and I think you did an excellent job. The landscapes you did, especially, were remarkable. You were able to capture the movement of the water in your first photo, and I love how the use of the black and white theme enhanced the different "layers" of mountains in your fourth.
I enjoy the first one the most. It is a lot different then the rest of them. An almost immediate experience that isn't the common idea of what looking through glass is like.
I love how you explored the less seen nature in your photos. It's hard in the city getting out and exploring less urban environments but I think you captured that empty serenity we often long for. The toning in your shots was nice, but I loved the black and white tree image the most.
I think that your photos work well together as minimalistic and ambiguous. I think that the most successful composition is your first one capturing the water droplets which shows beautiful layering.

ReplyDeleteI really love the fourth photo. The perspective really allows the B&W to create contrast between the back, fore and mid grounds.
