  1. I love the way you explore texture in your photos. I think that was an excellent use of the black and white theme since, at least in my experience, it enhances them. The use of lighting on (what I think are) the pencil shavings and hole-punch remnants are especially cool. It took me awhile to "figure" out what they were! I think it's shots like those that can really challenge our pre-conceived notions of every-day items and experiences.

  2. The skateboard between the legs had me completely confused as to where the skateboard was sitting. It made me take a second look. Great black and white contrast.

  3. The graffiti photograph, while "cliche" I genuinely enjoy it. The light is contrasted and stripped behind the bus stop as if confused, adds an element of wonder.

  4. I think your most successful photographs are those exploring texture. I really love the self portrait with the screen in front of your face. It creates a nice layering effect to show only the outline of your face. I also thought that the fourth one down was a nice composition of tones and textures.

  5. I agree that your best photos have great texture in them. I really like the photo that looks like a face shot through some sort of mesh. I also like the photo featuring the fluffy cat.
