The candy and flowers one is groovy, candy is so redundant that the upside downness almost slips by. What app was used for getting flowers looking like a painting?
I posted a recipe for the ones that look like paintings over in the other blog, hoping to snag that extra credit. The app I used was called Camera FV-5 Lite for Android
The vertical panoramic photo with the vine is really interesting. The colors are great, the dingy and muted wall and bright blue sky have great contrast. The perspective is also quite nice, seeing the vine up close toward the base of the wall and watching it get further away as it creeps up the wall.
I think your slow shutter photos with the hulahoop are the best photos in this set. I think number 9 is my favorite. It's awesome how you captured different bits of facial expression within the repetition of the hoop.
I am not sure what number it is, but the one with the bottles flipped from straight up to upside down is my favorite. The warmth of the colors makes me feel like the bottles upside down are really there..if that makes sense? I also appreciate that this image is nto completely in focus, whether it is intentional or not it adds to the photo in a positive way.
I really love how your explored a Slow Shutter Speed in #7 and #11. I am particularly drawn to these two because it shows natures natural movement, possibly the tree moving in the wind, and the grass swaying. Both of these photos have almost a painterly quality to them and I am really drawn to the "flatness" that the slow shutter speed has explored. My vote is for #7
Number 3 is my favorite (the size alone is amazing). But I really enjoy how it captures the upward climb of the vines; its almost like going on a journey and seeing the path laid out in front of you.
Wow...some really great photos in this collection. I have to go with #7, your technique was interesting, but you managed to bring out a lot of emotion, feelings of desolation and desperation, very sad.
#10 was my runner up, has a feel to it that exists outside of normal time, and if you blink that person might be completely gone from our perception.

ReplyDeleteI like your view of you smoking self portrait.
