I really like the composition and color tones that you use in this collection of photos. The first photo is a really well composed photo of different spaces within the building, the grass and the road. The blue tones that are shown in most of these photos sense a certain coldness which is nice with the bare trees shown. I vote #1
These are great photos. The shopping cart picture lighting is great and the last picture really caught my attention. That is my vote, because the background swirls in a way the eye can't normally see.
Many of these photos remind me of photos from your last critique. They share kind of the same mood and atmosphere, and I like that. I think you took some really interesting panoramic photos. Your framing and use of light provide unique ways of looking at these seemingly derelict environments.
I think the first photo is my favorite. The colors, the point of view, and the depth all provide a very interesting visual experience. Again, It's one of those pictures that is reminiscent of zombie apocalypse type scenarios for me, and I think it's great.
number 10 makes for the most interesting photo to look at. The altered perspective literally makes your head turn. The slow shutter speed makes me feel dizzy, which is a success in terms of technique. The photo feels surreal, almost like a painting. The high saturation adds to the painterly feel of the composition as a whole. that is my favorite photo from these
I really appreciate your choice of colors -- I think they all set an interesting mood. You did a great job with the panorama's also. My vote is for #1, I enjoy the cropping there, I like the contrast between the building and the trees in the background. Nice set!
I love the effects in number 8. It's framed very well and I think it makes the audience question the artists thoughts when taking the shot. It's very mysterious.

ReplyDeleteI really like number 5. It gives off a really eerie feel that I don't think you would get if it wasn't a panoramic photo.
